She was a defensemen at Brock University for three years, and now as a graduated USPORT athlete, is completing a masters in Sport Psychology, researching female USPORT coaches pathways to building successful programs. Mia also took part in Hockey Canadas Creating Coaches mentee program, and has held a role as a Hockey Canada summer student for the Women and Girls department. Mia works full-time as a Mental Performance Coach at CEP Mindset, and is very passionate about helping athletes with their mental game.

Mia’s extremely invested in the growth of women and girls hockey within Canada and especially in our St. Catharines community. Mia's coaching philosophy emphasizes a "whole" player development approach, ensuring athletes excel both on and off the ice. She collaborates with coaches, staff, and players across various teams to prepare them for high-level competition. Through her dedication and comprehensive approach, Mia Landry continues to inspire and cultivate the next generation of female hockey talent in the Niagara region.
